With the rise of the GA market, it is predicted that China could become the fastest-growing helicopter market in the world, knowing that China currently has less than 20 emergency helicopters in service, while it is estimated that the demand could increase up to 3,000 helicopter units in the coming future.
It is estimated that China will need about 10,000 light aircraft within the next five years to accommodate the GA sector’s rapid expansion. According to China’s national civil aviation authority, China will need to train about 500,000 civilian pilots by 2015. To meet national goals, Chinese government and entrepreneurs are currently investing significantly in all kind of China’s GA businesses.
